“Dawal” bears the name of a man whose life was a testament to resilience, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to his family. Mr. Pascual “Dawal” Climaco Magsalin’s journey, marked by poverty and the loss of parental guidance at a tender age, is a story of triumph over adversity. Through various occupations—agricultural helper, mason, horticulturist, and ambulant vendor— he tirelessly toiled to provide for his eight children alongside his wife, Mrs. Francisca Cabalquinto Magsalin. Their collective effort and sacrifice paved the way for their children to flourish in their respective fields, a testament to their father’s enduring legacy.
